Hey everyone!
Ok, so I know I've been bad and haven't blogged here in a while but you have to understand, June was crazy for me! I graduted university, it was my birthday month and job hunting. *rips hair out* Anyways, something good happened in June. My latest novel "MADE TO BEND, NOT BREAK" was released from Devine Destinies!! The beautiful cover is below! I'm still gaga over it by the way.
I am writing now like mad--or at least trying. I've got a new contract I should tell you about. For almost three years now I've been writing with my friend T.L Brooks. We've managed to write like four major novels and those novels have been boxing around on our computers because they are all over 80 000 words long and we're too chicken to tackle editing lol. Anyways, the other day we put our feet down and edited the first of many (it was written about third in the list) titled Liberated Seduction. I pitched it to the Publishing Trove and BAM! We got a contract for it. Not only will it be in ebook format but print as well with Passion In Print Publishing! *dances around*
T.L and I have all the contracts and stuff signed and returned so now we just have to finish a couple more forms and then we go into editing with the publishing house and then the ball will really start rolling. Isn't that ahh-sum? lol.
And my movie list for August has started. So far I have only one movie on the list THE EXPENDABLES. Seriously guys, this movie is going to be slamming! I mean check it out--it has Sly Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundren, Randy "The Natural" Coutoure, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Eric Roberts, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke --and those are only the people I remember off the top of my head. So August 13th--don't email me and expect to get a message back the same day because I'll be out watching things blow up lol *runs around room making gun sounds*
Ok, I should probably get back to my day lol. Talk lata.

New Contracts, Coming soon's and Writing
Hello everyone! Happy summer! I know for most of you it's either raining or boiling or both. I feel your pain. lol. But I have good news! Ok where to start...Well, my novel Made to Bend Not Break has gone through edits with Devine Destinies and I survived. I've written in the first person before but not this length. This is actually a novel, novel! So I was terrified. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be because my editor rocks. So, the tentative date on Made to Bend Not Break is June 15, 2010. That's in twelve days! woohoo!!
Secondly, I wrote a novel with a friend, T.L Brooks, titled Liberated Seduction and the other day we pitched it to a group of publishers and it was accepted!! We have contracts right now waiting to be signed! I just have to print the contract and all that good stuff so both T.L and I can sign them and send them off. Will have more about that once we know more.
Laila, My Love is still available with Red Rose Publishing. It is back on the best sellers list. Stop by red rose and grab your copy. It may not be a LONG story but its a sweet story with a little heat that will sure to be a fun read while soaking in the tub.
What am I working on now? Well, I'm working on a few things. Still muddling away at RUNT OF THE PACK. Not sure where that is going to go but I'm still being pushed to write it. So far I am at two well written chapters. I am hoping that by the time I finish my TESOL certification it will be finished. I mean I spend two hours on the train to go and return home so can get some stuff hand written then. Anyways, I should get home before the rain really starts coming down.

New Contract!!
So as many of you know, I started writing this novel last year. It took me months to give it a title because I couldn't figure out what to name it. Finally I decided on a title (I'm sorry to the cover artist who has to get this onto the cover) but I titled it MADE TO BEND, NOT BREAK. I think the title is important and I am hoping any woman feeling down because a man left them will learn something from this story.
But anyways, like I was saying, MADE TO BEND, NOT BREAK, was picked up by Devine Destinies! They are amazing people because that's where you can find my story A LOVER's WISH which is a best seller since it's release and a best seller at ARE! Thank you guys sooooo much! But I am so happy about my new contract! Now I am all nervous to see my cover.

Updates, Releases Etc
Hello everyone,
Yes, I know I've been scarce but it's not my fault! Really... Ok, here's an update. So life has been a rather hectic time lately. School has slightly gotten more irritating and out of control, I was doing nano, christmas craziness while trying to have a social life...
Anywho, My first contest for A Lover's Wish has been over a while (I know) and the winner was Tan06 (not sure if I should use her real name. Thank you for everyone who entered. Please look forward to my other contests for A Lover's Wish as the year goes by.
Speaking of segways--lol--I know you were looking for A Lover's Wish to be released on December 1, 2009 and I am sorry it wasn't but you know how it goes, things happen--but I have been given a new date--December 15, 2009. So Look for it to be available from Devine Destinies then. If anything changes I will be sure to let you know.
Also my new website is up and running so please be sure to update your links accordingly. You may have noticed I have merged both my websites into one. I am debating on whether or not to do that to my blog as well but I do not see any pros to that except cutting down on updates. So I don't think that will happen.
I have gotten a couple of emails about my untitled novel--people asking if I have gotten it titled yet. I think the answer to that is a weak yes. Right now it is titled Made to Bend, Not Break. Some of you may get that as well as others may not. But that is the title right now. It may change down the road so it's a working title.
And guys, I have facebook. Just search Kendra Mei Chailyn and add me. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can on there. I will leave another blog before Xmas--probably around the 15th.
So that's where I've been and been doing--I have one more paper, four exams and a road trip in the winter..wee!
